Kherson is the smallest city to express an interest

The Mayor of Lviv has stated that if asked Lviv would be willing to host next years Eurovision Song Contest. He stated that they would hold the contest at the Arena Lviv which hosted a number of matches for Euro 2012. The stadium has a capacity currently of just under 35,000, the stadium would require a roof to be built to host the contest.

Dnipropetrovsk in the center of Ukraine has also added its name to the list of cities interested in hosting. The Mayor of Dnipropetrovsk has not put forward a proposed venue, the city is home to the Dnipro-Arena, it also lacks a roof that would be required to host the contest. Kherson held meetings yesterday to propose a bid to host the contest, the city is the smallest so far to express its hopes to host the contest.
