TG4 the Irish broadcaster in charge of Junior Eurovision participation has launched their national selection process.
TG4 will once again be using Junior Eurovision Éire to select the singer that will represent Ireland at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. The selection will be held in three rounds, the first sees applicants will be asked to sing two songs of their choice accapella. They should sing a 2 minute segment of each song. After this the best singers and groups will be selected and given a number of weeks to write a song in Irish, the second auditions are held and the top.32 are selected for the televised selection.
A five show selection will then decide who represents Ireland this year in Malta. Four shows will feature eight singers each where a panel of judges will select one singer to go through to the final. In the final the remaining four singers will compete with one going all the way to Junior Eurovision 2016.
