KNR will not broadcast Eurovision 2016

The national broadcaster of Greenland, Kalaallit Nunaata Radioa will not be broadcasting the 61st edition of the Eurovision Song Contest.

KNR which is an associate member of the European Broadcasting Union has shown the contest in the past, with the show being broadcast on delay in 2011. Greenland has never had a national from its country attempt to compete in the Eurovision Song Contest unlike the Faroe Islands which is also part of the Danish Realm.
