Francesca Michielin has revealed some interesting hints about the staging of her song, “No Degree of Separation”.
It has been revealed that Italy will be working with Danish director Nicoline Lindeborg Refsing of Rockart Design on the production of the song. This will not be Rockart’s first time at the contest, as they have previously worked on the staging of Conchita’s “Rise Like a Phoenix” (Austria 2014), The Common Linnets’ “Calm After the Storm” (Netherlands 2014), and Aminata’s “Love Injected” (Latvia 2015). They have also worked with Pink, Take That, Westlife and Leona Lewis, as well as on the staging of the Brit Awards from 2006-2010.
Francesca has also revealed that the staging will have a predominately green colour scheme, which will be used to symbolise trees. The staging will follow the concept of a seed being planted.
