Delta Goodrem has today ruled out that she is the singer participating in the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest.

Delta Goodrem has been the favourite to represent Australia at this years Eurovision Song Contest in Stockholm, Sweden, but today she has ruled out that she is the singer. This morning she tweeted in response to a BuzzFeed poll asking users to say you they think is representing Australia that:

Not me my lovelies! I got a world of music going on but I’m sure whoever is doing will be awesome and we will all get behind xx

The news means that the favourite now to be representing Australia in Stockholm is Dami Im. Dami Im representing Australia at the 2014 ABU TV Song Festival in Macau and won the 2013 season of the X Factor Australia.

The reveal of the Australian singer takes place tomorrow in Sydney during a concert by Conchita Wurst at the Sydney Opera House.

  1. Umm no not Conrad, as Conchita let it slip yesterday in an interview that the artist selected is female, and others have said she is from Queensland …..
    And all the hints published by SBSEurovision are very similar in style to those that Dami has posted over the last 2 years for her fans on Instagram
