
Moldova also decided their entry for this year’s Eurovision Song Contest on “Super Saturday”. Sixteen artists that qualified from the previous two semi-finals performed in tonight’s final of “O Melodie Pentru Europa 2016”. The winner was decided 50/50 between a combination of public televoting and a jury made up of 11 members from Moldovan culture, arts and music industries.

Therefore, Lidia Isac has won the right to represent Moldova at this year’s Eurovision Song Contest in Stockholm, Sweden. Moldova will compete in the first half of the first semi-final on Tuesday 10th May.
