The final of the 14th edition of Eurovision Young Dancers takes place tonight from 20:00 CET. If you’ve not watched the show before or aren’t sure whether the show is for you we’ve put together a collection of videos of past performances to show you what it’s all about.
The winners in the past two competitions since its relaunch in 2011 have both been high energy modern dance routines that do grip the casual viewer.

Variety of Styles:
The solo pieces bring a variety of styles to the competition, from classical ballet to contemporary you see a wide variety of styles and routines throughout the solo performances. Take a look at just a few of the routines from 2013:

The group performances are the chance for the judges to see how the individual dancers work together and push them out of their comfort zone. Dancers who performed a ballet piece are challenged with a modern routine, while those high energy dancers are slowed down.
