Cornwall has won this years Pan Celtic Song Contest in Derry, Northern Ireland. The band The Changing Room managed a full sweep of the awards.
The Changing Room who were selected to represent Cornwall in Derry won the contest with “Hal an Tow”. They won the awards for Best Traditional Band, Best Original Song and the grand prize of being crowned winners of the Pan Celtic Song Contest.
The Pan Celtic Song Contest has been held every year since 1971 and promotes Celtic culture. The contest sees songs from Brittany, Cornwall, Ireland, Scotland and Wales compete.
