TG4 Will Be The Irish Broadcaster For JESC

TG4 has just been confirmed as the broadcaster that will bring Ireland to the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2015.

TG4 is the Irish language broadcaster in Ireland. Ireland has previously been said to be debuting in the contest in 2004 and 2014. In 2014 the broadcaster came very close to participating in Malta however failed to receive the necessary funding from the BAI.

TG4 alongside Adare Productions, will hold a nationwide search for an artist between the age of 10-15 to perform in Irish at Junior Eurovision. To apply to take part in the auditions you can fill out a form here.

  1. Hopefully their debut entry will have an edge. In other words, something in the style of Katy Perry or Pat Benatar or any typically well-known popstar. 🙂

    1. finally the official confirmation is here! 😀
    2. they will sing in IRISH, which is very beautiful

    I hope we (Hungary) will also debut this year. 😀

    1. Yle from Finland doesn’t want to participate. But there’s one more Finnish EBU member: MTV3. Could anyone ask them?
