Tonight, Israel’s Eurovision selection process Rising Star continued with its first round of quarter-finals. Eight acts battled it out to stay in the competition, however Nava Tehlia Walker did not make it to the next stage. The results are as follows (percentage of the vote to save is in brackets):
- Avia Shoshani (87%)
- Iki Levi & The Rasta Hebrew Men (87%)
- Nadav Gadej (83%)
- Sari Nachmias (82%)
- Sa’ar ‘Rusty’ Davidov (70%)
- Nava Tehlia Walker (67%)
- Orit Binsay (45%)
As Nava and Orit received the fewer votes to save, they had to battle it out in a duel. The results of this were:
- Orit Binsay (74%)
- Nava Tehlia Walker (64%)
Thus, as Nava received the fewer votes, she had to leave the competition.
The final of Israel’s Rising Star will be on Sunday 15th February.
