The rehearsals have finished today in Malta, with all of the remaining countries having taken to the stage now for the first time in Marsa.
The rehearsal times for today were as follows:
- Georgia 10:00-10:40 CET
- Montenegro – 10:40-11:20
- Croatia – 11:20-12:00
- San Marino – 12:00-12:40
- Serbia – 13:40-14:20
- Slovenia – 14:20-15:00
- Malta – 15:00-15:40
- Belarus – 15:40-16:20
First up this morning were the two time winners of Junior Eurovision, Georgia with “Happy Day” by Lizi Pop. Watch her rehearsal below:
Debuting nation Montenegro followed on from Georgia, Maša Vujadinović and Lejla Vulić are singing “Budi dijete na jedan dan”. They are one of the few countries not to be using pre-recorded backing vocals this year.
Croatia returned to the Junior Eurovision stage for the first time since 2006. Josie is singing “Game Over”, take a look below:
San Marino were last up before the lunch break. The Peppermints will be singing “Breaking My Heart”, the song is sung in both Italian and English.
After the 1 hour break for lunch it was time for Serbia to take to the stage. Serbia have not taken part in Junior Eurovision since 2010, Emilija Djonin will sing “Svet U Mojim Očima”.
Slovenia who are also debuting at this years Junior Eurovision Song Contest is represented by Ula Lozar and her song “Nisi Sam”
The host nation of Malta were up second to last today which is also where they will be performing in the final on Saturday night. During Federica Falzon’s rehearsal the President of Malta arrived at the arena, Federica will sing “Diamonds”.
And finally up last were the country that will open the show Belarus. Belarus are represented by Nadezhda Misyakova and her song “Sokol”.
