Tonight: Ukraine Decides On Their 2014 Junior Eurovision Entry

Tonight Ukraine will become the third country this year to select both their artist and song for Junior Eurovision 2014. The selection will see a total of 18 participants competing to represent Ukraine in Malta this November.

The final itself gets underway at 20:00 CET and can be watched live via a stream on the JuniorEurovision.tv website here, remember that the Web TV service requires you to have downloaded octoshape.

The winner of the show tonight will be selected by a 50/50 split of televote and jury vote. On the jury tonight are:

  • Aleksandar Zlotnyk
  • Ruslana Pysanka
  • Gaia Cauchi – Winner of Junior Eurovision 2013
  • Eldar Gasimov – Winner of the Eurovision Song Contest 2011
  • Andrey Frantsuz

The televote will be open to residents in Ukraine who can send up to 20 SMS messages. If a voter sends more than 20 SMS messages then only the first 20 votes will be counted. In the event that a tie occurs with both songs on the same number of points, the song which scored the most points with the jury will be declared the winner.

  7. Stasy MJ – Povernit Moyu Mriyu
  8. Trio “Zviosdnaia Kapel” – Oberig
  9. Mariya Tarnaskaya – Doroga do Lyubovi
  10. Anna Likhota – Vohon
  11. Anna Trincher – Nebo Zyna
  12. Sofiya Rol – V tvoyikh dolonyakh vse
  13. Yuliana Vasilovskaya – Tviy Nomer Odyn
  14. Veronika Yerokhova – Znov Shasliva ya
  15. Duet “Boikov Sisters” – Moya Stihiya
  16. Denys Frolov – Sontse
  17. Yaryna Taras – Moya Ukraino
  18. Trio “Sympho-Nick” – Song unknown
