Ziyu He Wins For Austria (Image YoungMusicians.tv)

The 23rd edition of Eurovision Young Musicians has been won tonight by Ziyu He who was representing Austria. He played the violin and were performing the piece 2. Violinkonzert by Béla Bartók. A total of 14 countries took part in the show tonight which was held at the foot of Cologne Cathedral in Cologne, Germany. The winner was selected by a 5 member jury of music experts.

Here are the top.3:

  1. Austria – Ziyu He – Violin – 2. Violinkonzert by Béla Bartók
  2. Slovenia – Urban Stanič – Piano – Grande polonaise brillante, op. 22 E-flat major by Fryderyk Chopin
  3. Hungary – Gergely Devich – Cello – Allegro appassionato Op.43 by Saint-Saëns

Congratulations to the winner, the Eurovision Young contests return in 2015 for Eurovision Young Dancers in the Czech Republic in June 2015.
