Michele Perniola who represented San Marino at Junior Eurovision 2013, has revealed to Velvet Music that he is planning a charity single.
Michele took San Marino to their debut in Junior Eurovision with the song “O-o-o Sole intorno a me” finishing in 10th place with 24 points. In an interview with Velvet music he talks about his experience at Junior Eurovision saying that:
What can I say, beautiful emotion. I ended up with around a bunch of people who do not know, it was amazing to listen to my song sung in chorus by all of them. A big surprise. For the rest, stay in Kiev made me grow up a lot, I met a lot of people, I also learned to speak in Ukrainian, but just a little ‘! (Laughs)
He then went on to say that he has plans to turn “O-o-o Sole intorno a me” into a charity single. Michele said that:
With my producer ( Antonello Coach, ed. ) we are planning to translate the song into many other languages, to give life to a project: sell the song all over the world and, through an NGO, to donate the proceeds to the less fortunate children. It ‘something to which we hold a lot.
