Albin Uusijärvi has won Polstjärneprisets in Sweden, meaning he is off to Eurovision Young Musicians 2014. Albin beat off competition from three other musicians in the final which was held at the Gothenburg Concert Hall. Albin also wins 50,000 SEK which is around 5,500 Euros.

Albin who plays the Viola, becomes the first entrant to represent Sweden in the contest since 2010 when Sweden last took place in Eurovision Young Musicians. Albin joins Lucie Horsh from the Netherlands in being selected for the contest which takes place in May.
