
The final of Festivali i Kenges has just finished in Albania, Herciana Matmuja with and their song “Zemërimi i një nate ” being chosen as the Albanian entry to Eurovision 2014. Herciana is no strange to Festivali i Kenges having taken part in 2010 and 2012. This years final saw a total of 16 acts competing to represent Albania at the Eurovision Song Contest.
The acts that took part in tonight’s final were:

- Jam larg (I’m far away) – Besiana Mehmeti and Shkodran Tolaj – 12 points
- Kthehu (Come back) – Luiz Ejlli – 20 points
- Një ditë shprese (One hopeful day) – Frederik Ndoci – 33 points
- Jehona – NA – 25 points
- Me ty (With you) – Klodian Kacani – 45 points
- Natë e pare (First night) – Venera Lumani and Lindi Islami – 37 points
- Mikja ime (My friend) – Blerina Braka – 16 points
- Ëndërrat janë ëndërra (Dreams are dreams) – Xhejsi Jorgaqi – 0 points
- Kur qielli qan (When the sky cries) – Xhejn & Enxhi Kumrija – 28 points
- Princesha (The Princess) – Lynx – 6 points
- Ti mungon (You’re missing) – Marjeta Billo – 18 points
- Grua (Wife) – Sajmir Braho – 40 points
- Në zemër (In the heart) – Rezarta Smaja – 25 points
- Vetëm për ty (Only for you) – Entela Zhula and Edmond Mancaku – 10 points
- Mjegulla (I don’t know) – Renis Gjoka
The winner was decided by a jury made up of Agim Krajka (musician), Aleksander Lalo (musician), Hajg Zaharian (musician), Xhevahir Spahiu (writer, poet), Petrit Malaj (actor), Erjona Rushiti (musicologist), and Bojken Lako (singer). You can listen to the winning song below:
