Das Erste reported an average viewing figure of 8.21 million people for Saturday night’s Eurovision final. This figures is down by 800,000 on last year when Roman Lob represent Germany in Baku. The peak viewing figure was an impressive 9.43 million people when Cascada took to the stage. They also managed to get a 42.6% market share of 14-49 year olds, and a 44.1% market share of viewers aged between 14-29. Which is a good sign for the contest in Germany.
