Markus Pawlik has been announced as one of the judges who will decide the winner of Eurovision Young Musicians 2014.
Markus was the first ever German entrant to EYM when it was launched in 1982. He started performing publicly at 7 and was the three-time winner of both the German National Young Musician’s Competition and the Hamburg Steinway Competition. As the first ever winner of EYM he kicked off an international career which has seen him perform across the globe. As well as performing, Pawlik has given international master classes, has judged piano competitions and has taught as a guest lecturer at UCLA and the University of Arkansas.
