Aline Lahoud who was selected to represent Lebanon at Eurovision in 2005, is rumored to be taking part in “The Voice”, France.

Aline was supposedly approached to take part in it by a french producer according to the Lebanese news website El Nashrafan. Aline is one of Lebanon’s most famous and well known artists alongside the likes of Mika who has also been linked with Lebanese Eurovision participation in the past.

The song that Aline was due to sing at Eurovision for Lebanon was a french ballad called “Quand tout s’enfuit”. Lebanon withdrew from the 2005 contest before the contest due to Télé-Liban not agreeing to broadcast the Israeli song. The broadcaster was given a three year ban from the contest for violating the rules. Télé-Liban are currently eligible to participate in the contest as they are still a member of the EBU.
